The vibration and damping performances of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) three-dimensional double-arrow-head (3D DAH) auxetic metamaterials are investigated in this paper. The negative Poisson’s ratio effects of the CFRP 3D DAH auxetic metamaterials are analytically studied by the energy method. 3D finite element models based on Modal Strain Energy approach are developed to analyze their vibration and damping characteristics.
